I'm really pleased with the the 0.6.3. Stable on my System...but anyways: I would like to have the option of specifying a proxy for fetching the information of the net.

Landau Logged In: YES user_id=186 I looked at open-uri a little more (the code that handles the actual downloading) and it looks like if you use HTTP_PROXY it will warn you that you should use 'http_proxy' (the lowercase version. HTTP_PROXY conflicts with other things.)
