For now "Software/Group search" feature work like that: if you search term matches one of the project names, it is immediately displayed. So, people can't find other projects on the same subject. E.g. if someone want to find library to handle .DBF files, he probably will search with "DBF" search term. This will immediately show project named "DBF". But there is no way to see other projects that are also related to DBF files (e.g. RBase project) that include "DBF" as part of their description. My proposal that search results (list of projects that match search term) should show up even if there is a project with exactly the same name.

E.g. in the example with DBF, the one who faced the problem of retrieving data from that legacy database format will search for "DBF" and will find only one project (the "DBF" one). He could even not know that DBF is a family of formats called XBase and that there are another projects that can handle them. Concerning convenience, maybe there could be some "I'm feeling lucky" button next to "Search" button or something (like Google did). I think, being able to see related project on the same subject is a must. E.g. the project with the same name could be first in the search results so it's only one more click away.
