current snapshot causes pimki to hang

Detailed description
Asaph

After a recent bliki entry one of my webs has become unusable. Even just attempting to open the web causes pimki to
hang. kill won't stop it, but kill -9 will. Another web on the same server can be used, although it is also showing
signs of corruption (a link to one particular existing page appearing as a question mark).

Probably the best thing is if I email you some stuff. What do you need? The html output and the relevant snapshots?
There are a few of these snapshots because reverting to previous snapshots and trying different things produced different
results, although they all led to pimki making itself unusable.

I have tried to download the pimki_2_zombie snapshot so I can try that instead, but the link doesn't work any more.
I don't want to install svn because fink wants to install a thousand dependencies, including an outdated version of
ruby.

Hi Robert,

Can you please answer these questions?
- What OS are you on? (MacOSX ?)
- How have you set the multiple webs? I assume you are talking
about multiple pimki instances each with a single web, rather
than multiple webs hosted by the one instance.

Please note the following:
- If you are running multiple instances, they need to be stored
in different directories. Storing two instances in the same dir
will create havoc with the .snapshot and .command_log files,
alsthough normally it should create a unique <port> subdir.

- If you just want separate webs (instead of separate instances
on separate ports), you can create multiple webs and even link
between them. See the Web Setup page (under the "Update
Web" button is a link to "create a new web").

- I have attached a zip of Pimki2. It's just a zip of the relevant
parts in the branch - suggest you go with SVN if you like it.

- Pimki2_zombie has a different binary format - enough so you
can't just use the snapshots directly. All you need to do is
export it as a zip from the Pimki 1.8 instance (currently exporting
one web at a time), and then import it into a brand new Pimki2
instance via the 'Web Setup' page under "Other administrative
tasks".

- The above mis-link may just be a caching issue. From the Web
Setup page just select "Clear Render Cache" and see
if that clears the problem.

If you still have problems, just send me the latest snapshots
and command logs. Consider this an NDA (I will not pass the info
within to any other entity, and will generally avoid even looking
at any embarassing info in there :).

Hope this helps,
Assaph
