Date: 2006-07-31 09:20 Sender: Matthias Tarasiewicz the 'back in time' functionality can be found on the 5uper.net site ( http:// 5uper.net ) there are 3 different kinds of entries: dates, projects and news. if you click on a calendar date, only dates from the clicked date backwards are shown. if i click on feb. 2nd, only post dates before january the 2nd are shown (and actually posts from the same day) - making it kind of 'back in time'. the site content looks as it was back then.

Date: 2006-07-18 08:51 Sender: Matthias Tarasiewicz published 'in the future.': yeah, this would make sense. at our site http://5uper.net we are using thast feature. not only to post in advance (which lots of people are doing by the way) - but also to "go back in time" by clicking on the calendar. just posts from the selected day/month backwards are shown. so yes, that would be a very handy feature.
Date: 2006-07-16 20:56 Sender: Chris Wanstrath It'd be interesting to use this alongside some time of day dropdowns. The real question is, would anyone use it? I almost never change my dates. Do you see people doing it often? Right now ozimodo does not care if a post is published 'in the future.' It will still show it. Maybe it should only show posts with a created_at date in the past, giving the date field more power. But I'm still not convinced anyone would use it. Would you?
