After clicking on the applicaton to give it focus, the mouse pointer movement dramatically slows for me such that I have to move the mouse a long ways to move the pointer. Clicking on the desktop or other native Windows application causes the mouse pointer movement to revert to the normal settings. Is there any way the Fox toolkit can import the Windows mouse settings to avoid this problem?

Using the same version of Ruby copied from the old computer did not exhibit this symtom--the mouse movement was the same whether Work Time Recorder had the focus or not. Then I installed the Logitech MouseWare drivers version 9.79 and the problem showed up again. I would switch back to the Microsoft native mouse driver but when using Remote Desktop, it has the mouse buttons switched on the remote computer (I'm using the mouse left handed). With the Logitech driver, there is no such problem. Attempted to run Work Time Recorded with Ruby 1.8.5 to see if that would address the issue but it wouldn't start up.

To duplicate this issue may require setting your Windows mouse motion speed setting towards the fast side. I have the slider at about 75% to the fast side and acceleration set to High which works well on this 21" monitor. This is not really a bug in WorkTimeRecorder but an issue with how the Fox tookit interacts with Windows. However, there may be some way to tweak the mouse motion settings in the Fox toolkit which is why I filed this bug.
