apologies that i don't have much more information but i just installed rubyroom 0.3 (and ruby and ruby-gnome2 via synaptic)
on my eee 1005ha running unr karmic 9.10 and on launch of rubyroom i get a full white screen and nothing else.

i'm able to use the "f" keys to open up dialogs and quit, but even the dialogs are whited out (though i can
see the titlebar).

i see no errors in my terminal and i do have a .rubyroomrc which looks right.
 
maybe ruby-gnome2 0.19.0-2ubuntu4 (karmic) is messed up?
