Detailed description 
Submitted to sourceforge by user finofontana:

Create options in PatternFormatter which give a choice
to log the file and/or the line number and/or the
method. Now everything is logged when using the 't'
option. The file path/name can be very long, thus
cluttering the log output. This requirement gives the
possibility to fe. only log the method. 
Maybe also create a choice to log th e filename only,
without a file path
