I had the same problem as patch 15984, but I didn't see that patch until _after_ I went and resolved it myself, made
the patch and then came to upload it.

We actually did almost the same thing.

My patch should be a teeeeny bit faster as I stringify the user passed in columns once in the import method and then
it is a simple include at the bottom.

This patches against 0.7

Works with PostgreSQL.  Should be database agnostic.
