C-x C-f \\someserver\somedir 

or 

C-x C-f \\someserver\somedir\somefile

emacs crashes


My lisp skills are week but I think its might be some of the searching during opening the file/dir when looking to see
if it's a rails app

this is on WinXP pro

I reported the same problem in 21573 - that was on windows 2000
server.
