Here is a patch for narray-0.5.9p4.  This one adds a conj! method (i.e. an in-place conjugation) and a conjugate! alias
to the NArray class.  It also includes a fix to the stddev method for complex NArrays and two new methods: rms
and rmsdev.

I hope you will be able to include all of these enhancements in the next NArray release.
