I found this bug on Launchpad.net (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alexandria/+bug/205787): I am using Alexandria 0.6.3 in Hardy. I have a books library I created in Tellico but when I try import the library into Alexandria I get Couldn't import the library The format of the file you provided is unknown. Please retry with another file.

I've been a bit more lenient with the import code, and can now import files (not tested thoroughly though). Partly fixed in SVN r1058.

Today I made a simple book collection in tellico and tried to import that. That worked without problem, so I guess this is a case of PEBKAC.
