The Academic Free License 3.0 is an OSI-approved best-practice license, and their own creation. It is basically a two-clause
BSD license, better fit for modern times.
I think RubyForge should support the AFL, that is in project registration and throve categorization. Actually while
you're at it, maybe overlook all the licenses because I think you're missing lots of OSI approved ones. But this one
I'm sure of, as I use it in my projects and I miss it here. |
