Would it be possible to include another list and sort column?

My library is over 2000 books, so I use the "Library of Congress" cataloguing system (eg. BF679.5.S43H34)
to order my books. I'd really appreciate the ability to include the catalogue number for each book... and be able to
sort the books by that field.
