[Wtr-general] Need help to test Flash Application

You cannot use Watir to test Flash application.  There are tools like
WinRunner that can use screen coordinates to input and click on objects,
but that is very problematic because if anything on the screen
changed-even a different monitor can affect it-your test will fail.  I
have been told that there is a way to use the Flash remoting to send and
receive request to the Flash objects but I have not been able to get
that to work for the Flash applications I test.  Not to mention Flash
applications can have performance issues and doesn't scale very well.
Oh and you can use Performance tools either...sales people will try and
tell you differently but when they ask someone who actually knows
something they will concede their tool doesn't either.
