[Wtr-general] How to use for loop in watir script?

I'm not sure I understand your requirement or why you can't do a for loop,
here's a quick stab in the dark:
ie.text_field(:name, 'user name').set('name' * 5)

More information about your situation may get a different and possibly
better answer.
