[Win32utils-devel] win32-file and File.basename edge case

Hi all,

I noticed in win32-file 0.4.4 that File.basename("") hangs on my Windows 
XP Pro box at work, but not at home.

Does anyone else see this behavior?  I can only speculate that the 
behavior of PathRemoveBackslash() changed at some point in the lifecycle 
of VC++ 7.
