Unfortunately, it is not easily possible to apply this update for regular 
installations, since there is no release yet that includes this fix. One option 
is to just go in and change the file in question: It's a small change (See 
https://github.com/fdv/typo/commit/0026a65c2659fbf2f5d161d7c2910fa8a4ef5286).

As a work-around, you can place a check in front of the comment you want to 
delete, and then click Delete Checked Items.

Frédéric, how do you feel about releasing a bug fix release for 5.5?
