You should write a userstory about this on the wiki Syed.  It  
certainly seems trickier than I would have guessed.  It's a legacy  
issue because Typo was originally conceived to only work with the  
likes of Ecto and Marsedit ... and eh, the Windows equivalents.  The  
admin interface was a later addition.
