[typo] typo documentation

Two more questions- is the only way for readers to find 'pages' for
readers via the sidebar links or Textile/Markdown/...  markup urls? I 
noticed search doesn't seem to show them.

Also, is there a generally preferred markup filter (e.g. textile vs. markdown)?
