  Hmmm. That is more complex. Both methods produce a decent bounding
box, excepted that, for some reason I don't understand, gv does not take
it into account when the file has been produced by pdftops, while it
does for pdf2ps.

  So, both methods should work, if what you're looking for is inclusion
into another document.
