I've been twiddling Mailman for a bit, looks like all's well now. On a mirroring note, I've restarted the various cronjobs that check for new gems/files and ping the mirror master... hopefully you'll see some hits once folks start to deploy gems again... Maybe you could put a test gem in your repository and check if it gets distributed properly? A good idea for a small test run via cron as well, to monitor the health of the mechanism :) Kind regards, Dennis -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEmGTrcT9mJF158yMRAuQwAKC99bmZQXZQFndncnau/Llpu9h05gCffLCo ALvDW4hDOhB/PDgDQp8Pm2w= =TCvV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- From tom at infoether.com Tue Jun 20 17:34:03 2006 From: tom at infoether.com (Tom Copeland) Date: Tue, 20 Jun 2006 17:34:03 -0400 Subject: [Support-mirrors] Test of new server In-Reply-To: <449864EB.8090102@lauschmusik.de> Message-ID: <000501c694b1$411debc0$0201000a@tomhplaptop> > Tom Copeland wrote: > > On a mirroring note, I've restarted the various cronjobs that check > > for new gems/files and ping the mirror master... hopefully > you'll see > > some hits once folks start to deploy gems again... > > Maybe you could put a test gem in your repository and check > if it gets distributed properly? It'd be good if I could work in some sort of ping test on each mirror machine too... right now I have to manually remove them from the rotation if one goes offline. Sounds like a good job for a small Ruby script! I'll see what I can do... Yours, Tom
