[Soks] Excluding known crawlers from viewer counts

Hi,

The IT folks have pointed a web crawler at our
site, and I am trying to figure out how to
exclude it's hostname/IP from the ViewerCounter,
otherwise the crawler swamps the results.

I've spent some time looking at

  lib/helpers/counter-helpers.rb

but I haven't managed to crack the code.

Can I regex using 'author' or something?
