[Rubygems-developers] Deploying servers with rubygems

Hi all!

I hope I am on the right list.  Feel free to direct me to a proper forum
if I'm off topic.

I am publishing a Rails application usign rubygems, and I would like to
stop this application when updating it.

What I need, is to be able to run some code when my gem is being
uninstalled or updated.

How do I best do this?
