Yeah, when I saw that _you_ have a beta gems site, in addition to 2 or
3 others I know of, I thought "Perhaps it's time to let people easily
release beta gems - i.e. without having to run their own server."

So a beta server and an archive server running on Rubyforge sound good
to me.
