Paul, do you ever use AIM?  I'm swamped tonight, but I'd like to chat 
in real time about this.  It's hard for me to get on irc from work, so 
if you're ever on AIM, I'm "cefogc".  Otherwise I'll try to catch you 
on irc at some point.
