I think this might be fixed on trunk. Try this:

sudo gem uninstall rspec
Get the trunk from svn
rake gem
sudo gem install pkg/rspec....gem
install rspec_on_rails from trunk instead of tagged version

If this works, everything should be fine in the 0.6.4, which is right
around the corner
