doh! Thanks David. I just kept hitting pre_commit and fixing gem  
dependencies.

What's the purpose of trunk/README? Is there any need for it? If so,  
it could probably just contain "See rspec/README" as everything it  
half-states is explained (in not too many words) in spec/README.
