From batsman.geo at yahoo.com Fri Nov 5 19:04:45 2004 From: batsman.geo at yahoo.com (Mauricio =?iso-8859-1?Q?Fern=E1ndez?=) Date: Fri Nov 5 19:04:54 2004 Subject: [Rpa-base-testers] Recent ports/packages Message-ID: <20041106000445.GA15963@student.ei.uni-stuttgart.de> Hi, in the last few days the following ports have been uploaded to the repository: actionmailer 0.3.0-2 Framework for easy email delivery and testing. actionpack 0.9.0-1 A control-flow and template package for the VC part of MVC. activerecord 1.0.0-1 Object-relation mapping put on rails. gettext 0.8.0-1 Native Language Support Library and Tools modeled after GNU gettext. htmltools 1.0.9-1 Library for building trees representing HTML structure. needle 1.0.0-1 Dependency injection container library. rails 0.8.0-1 Web-application and persistance framework. railties 0.8.0-2 Create Rails web-applications easily. rbmhshow 0.4.1-1 MIME-capable commmand-line MH mail environment. romkan 0.4-1 Kana to/from Romaji conversion library. rpa-base 0.2.2-10 A port/package manager for the Ruby Production Archive (RPA) rubymail 0.17-1 Lightweight mail library. sqlite 2.2.1-1 Ruby bindings for SQLite. as usual, we cannot expect them to be bug free (although in many cases they are less buggy than the upstream release ;) but the fixes are forwarded to the original developer and should make it into the next official release), so if you experience any problem please report. We don't make a lot of noise but that doesn't mean that there's no activity :) The development of the 0.3 branch is proceeding nicely and we're slowly making some progress towards a better infrastructure. Would anybody like automated RPA upload notifications to be posted to this list? -- Hassle-free packages for Ruby? RPA is available from http://www.rubyarchive.org/
