Hey all, I found your R:O:S project page and I'm wondering if the 
project is still active. If so, I'd like to help out.

I have experience with many computer languages (including some 
experience in Ruby), and I've done some OS work before. More than that, 
though, I have some unusual ideas (file systems, modular kernels, user 
interfaces) that I hope may be helpful or at least interesting.

My main question: the project page says the OS will be geared for 
end-users, but what level of end-users? Does it aim for the everyday 
users (people who generally use Windows or Macs), or the more advanced 
users (Unix/Linux users?).

I think the project has potential. I'd like to help make it happen.
