Hello ROSers.

Lately I've been searching for new OSes, as I've become bored of all the
unix clones out there. I'd like something new to use. Then yesterday (or
was it the day before that..) I found ROS. I read the idea book and nearly
the all of the mailing list archives. (I didn't read the wiki, because
it's a spam house. Nearly unreadable..) There's a lot of great ideas there
that I'd want for my ideal OS. (I love Ruby for example.) But then I
noticed that it's been pretty dead here lately. I'd really like to see ROS
go forward and I'm willing to help, but I can't do it alone. I'd like to
see this list to awaken and ideas flowing again.

I've, not so long ago, created my own project
(http://gna.org/projects/backarrow), which aims at creating a bunch of
Ruby programs for gnu platforms. (Not much of it done, and what code I
have on my computer needs to be redone..) Now, if ROS would awaken, rather
than continuing that project, I'd like them to be a part of ROS.

So, come on people! Wake up! Try to get more interested people on this
list if you can! Lets make this go somewhere!
