I lived in Japan for two years, one while an exchange student in high school, and then again for a year at Kanazawa University, and graduated with a double degree in Japanese Language and Literature and Computer Science from the University of Washington in the US. I've been doing a lot of programming with Ruby lately, mostly in Rails. I speak Japanese fairly well, and read and write. I pay attention to the "ruby-list" in Japanese. I would like to know if there are things I can assist with translating the Ruby Hacker's Guide. Great resume ;) > I would like to know if > there are things I can assist with translating the Ruby Hacker's > Guide. Well, I only see one thing: start translating a chapter ;-). If you choose to do it, the chapters already taken are those that are in SVN (http://rubyforge.org/plugins/scmsvn/viewcvs.php/en/?root=rhg), plus chapter 5.
