From pbolliger at gmail.com Fri Sep 18 09:02:12 2009 From: pbolliger at gmail.com (Philipp Bolliger) Date: Fri, 18 Sep 2009 15:02:12 +0200 Subject: [Retrospectiva-general] how to setup local svn repository Message-ID: <77600C36-43FD-48F5-ACA5-CF1024CB70CA@gmail.com> it seems like a very simple task, but i just couldn?t find a doc that explained how to do this. we have retrospectiva running on the same machine as our svn server. our svn repo (containing 20+ projects) is at a path like /something/svn/repos/REPONAME this directory is then managed by subversion and contains folders like ?conf?, ?dav?, ?db?. i found two settings in the retrospectiva admin section in ?Repositories?: ?Path:? in ?Projects?: 'Repository path:? i tried every conceivable values, nothing worked. any idea what we?re missing? ps is it necessary to cal ?svnsync? on a local repo? In Project:Path you can then restrict (only if you want) the view to a specific sub-directory of this repository (e.g. trunk/ or /branches/somebranch). Makes sense? I think someone mentioned something about writing a Mercurial adapter for Retrospectiva. Unfortunately, nothing ever hapened. Could you please add a section to the "Extension Ideas" wiki page, so it's on my list of things to do.
