[Rant-cafe] Further Rant development

I've accidently sent this mail to the old make-cafe
mailing list first. Sorry for any confusion.

Hi all,

As Russel has hinted at, I've little time for Rant and that
won't change in the near future. So personally, I won't develop
any big features anytime soon. Anyway, Rant is a very useful
tool for me, so at least I'll keep up maintenance.

If someone of you has a greater vision for Rant, and is willing
to take over leadership, I'll happily pass it on.

If no one steps up until then, I intend to make a symbolic
1.0 release by the end of July and we'll keep backwards
compatibility in later releases. Of course in this case
feature contributions and bufixes are still very welcome
and we'll hand out subversion access to regular contributors.
