[Rant-cafe] Does Rant have a Future?

For me, Rant is far superior to Rake, and in many ways much better than
SCons and Waf. But do others think this? If so, we should decide how
to progress Rant. In effect give it a road map.

Stefan did a massive job creating Rant, but he no longer has the time to
progress it. Xavier drove things for a while, but his life has taken a
new direction, so he is not really Ranting any more. So there are some
questions...

Does Rant have a role in the universe or should SCons, Waf and possible
Rake be the tools?

If Rant has a role, where should it go?

Are there people out there willing and able to make this happen?

I am sure there are others...
