Yesiree, I'm on the roster too and looking forward to a delicious Ruby
experience. It'll be my first time flying since 2000, but I'd like to hear

I suppose I'm flying. It'd be an awful long drive or train ride. Since I'm
paying my own way there, I'm taking a friend up on the offer to stay at his
place about 10 minutes from the venue.

That makes, what, 4 raleigh.rb members at least signed up. Should be fun.

I'm glad to see so many folks going! I'll be there and hopefully  
giving a talk... I might even run my talk by ya'll at a Raleigh.rb  
meeting before the conference.

As for the hotel price, my understanding is that conference attendees  
can get rooms for $99/night. Even though I have family in the area  
I'll probably grab a room at the hotel for a few nights (22nd-24th)  
since it'll be a lot more convenient while the conference is going on.

We will have a hotel room ourselves. My whole family is going, so
