you want to know how far you have come with your translation?
try this new script:

   scripts/progress.rb fr

and you get a statistic after adding some block markers into your poignant.yml.
see the simple rdocumentation for this or look at the lang-de version.

@why: how about adding some documentation to the poignant.rb as well?

hello everyone!

It would be great to have the different translations linked with each other - so 
people recognize that there is not only the English one.
Like wikipedia, you know. "Diese Seite auf Deutsch" (This page in German) etc.

What do you think?

I do totally agree .. I also think a page listing all the translations
could be great ;)
