Hey there everyone,

I'm not sure if everyone's seen this, but I thought I'd just mention
it to make sure. The railsconf keynotes are slowly being made
available here:

at the time of writing there's just the Dave Thomas and Martin Fowler
presentations available, but they're both worth watching. I
particularly enjoyed Martin Fowler's talk, and thought that it reached
out way beyond rails. His hand movements, and excitement (particularly
when he talks about unix) are worth watching him for alone ;-)

Hey there everyone,

this is just a little reminder about our meeting on Thursday. It's at
7.30pm in the Cumberland. If anyone's wanting to come along and isn't
sure if they'll find us, then just drop me an email and i'll arrange
to meet you beforehand :-)

Another thing to mention is that David Heinemeier Hansson's keynote on
his new thoughts about CRUD is now available. It's definitely worth
watching, and David spends a lot of time discussing the implications
on design methodology and 'webservices' that following the CRUD
operations has on things. The presentation is available here:

Finally, I'll be going away to India for a month on Saturday, and

One small catch, the back room at the Cumberland is hosting a Ukulele
session on Thursday night. With any luck the weather will be fine and
we can stay out on the tables.
