Hi Denis, sorry about the delay.

Obviously you have the acts_as_poll method, so the problem is elsewhere.

It's likely that the installation didn't go ok, since I've just fixed  
a strange generator bug (see my previous email in the list). In that  
case, please check that the following files exist:

app/models/civic_duty_poll.rb

and a migration in db/migrate, labeled "xxx_create_polls"

Also, have you run rake db:migrate? Did that work? Do you have the  
civic_duty_polls table in your database?
