[Nitro] returning string from controller method

That's great. I found the relevant thread now.

On a related note, I was trying out my examples against the latest repo 
version, and simply returning a string from a controller apparently no 
longer works. Will this be the 0.50.0 behaviour?

I can't recall that it was mentioned here, I would just like my 
documentation to be as up-to-date as possible.
