I'm hopeful that, some day, it will become common for Web developers to 
write Web apps that offer useful behavior in the absence of JavaScript.

But today is not that day.

I'm going to guess that I must now turn on JavaScript to have the page 
load even a basic "Welcome!" message.

But it doesn't make me confident that what I'll see is well thought out.
