[Nitro] /usr/bin/nitro does not work under Rubygems

I guess the only solution would be to let the Rubygems people fix this issue. 
It would be easy if we could insert one line into the /usr/bin/nitro file, 
e.g. ORIG_DIR_PWD = Dir.pwd.
