README patch

The README appears to be pretty much a direct dump of the wiki page,  
which means it's not wrapped for an 80-character display. I've  
attached a patch which re-wraps it for such a display (except for the  
one URL that was longer than 80 characters - I didn't know what to do  
with that, but having the display character-wrap that is fine). It  
also removes any extraneous spaces that were at the end of lines.
