Sounds great, James. I started building a wiki yesterday (<a href="http://github.com/meekish/collective">http://github.com/meekish/collective</a>) that we'll hopefully have up at <a href="http://wiki.merbivore.com">wiki.merbivore.com</a> by the end of the week. It would be great to launch it with some decent content. <div>
<br></div><div>Maybe this thread would be a good place to gather a list of content that everyone thinks would be a good fit for the wiki. Once we get a list, perhaps we can divide and conquer and have a nicely fleshed out wiki by the time we're ready for launch.</div>
<div><br></div><div>So, anyone, ideas?<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Wed, Apr 2, 2008 at 1:42 PM, James Herdman <<a href="mailto:james.herdman@gmail.com">james.herdman@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex;">
I'm willing to spend some time on this. I'm fairly new at Merb, so I'm likely to ask all those wonderful newb-y questions along the way.<div><br></div><div><font color="#888888">James</font><div><div></div><div class="Wj3C7c">

Yeah now that 0.9.2 is out to rubyforge we really need some default samples of best practices. I'd be happy to work with someone if they wanted to step up to make some examples.<br>

I'm extremely interested in the fundamentals of how experienced Merb<br>
developers view the status quo for Merb-based applications. Perhaps<br>
we should devise a tutorial for a simple controller for the Merb home<br>
page?<br>

Does this revert remove the ability to spec views in isolation? <a href="http://github.com/wycats/merb-core/commit/6867c0b8c4f8a985b7e75c571be9aea9e077861e" target="_blank">http://github.com/wycats/merb-core/commit/6867c0b8c4f8a985b7e75c571be9aea9e077861e</a><br>

If so, is Tim Connor's method currently my best bet? <a href="http://www.timocracy.com/articles/2007/12/17/isolated-controller-and-view-testing-in-merb" target="_blank">http://www.timocracy.com/articles/2007/12/17/isolated-controller-and-view-testing-in-merb</a><br>
