I agree 100%. As long as it is Rails and (Iron)Ruby who cares what VM it 
is on? My point is ASP.NET MVC != Rails. I do not want to use IronRuby 
in ASP.NET MVC, I want to use IronRuby + Rails on IIS/ASP.NET.
