[Iowa-general] iowa component repository

Hi,

It's good to see mails on the Iowa ML :).
I would like to create an Iowa component repository. At the moment it's
tentatively called iowa-oak.org (oak being the state tree of iowa), and
I've started playing around with the design of the site and general
brainstorming. 
I believe a good collection of components could make Iowa into a superb
tool for rapid web development and really promote Iowa. It could also
allow us to agree on some naming schemes and patterns for our Iowa
development that would help collaboration. I'm sure some of the code
I've written for Iowa would look really freaky to you and vice versa!

I have the resources to host this but it still requires a lot work. I
just wanted to sanity check this before investing too much time. Please
give me any feedback, protests, praises or insults you may have
regarding this idea ? Maybe someone else has been dreaming of this too ?
