From oliver at sanbi.ac.za Thu Apr 28 18:27:49 2005 From: oliver at sanbi.ac.za (Oliver Hofmann) Date: Thu Apr 28 18:21:51 2005 Subject: [Instiki] List of potential problems with Markdown Message-ID: <42716365.8030600@sanbi.ac.za> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Greetings everyone, been tinkering with Markdown on Instiki for the first time and noticed some odd behaviours. Lists do not render if preceeded by a header: ## My header * Foo * Bar won't give a list, but including some text between header and list will. WikiWords enclosed in double brackets do not seem to work within lists at all. Is this a known behaviour or am I simply missing something? Any help would be appreciated -- running Instiki 0.10.0 with Ruby 182-15 on a WinXp machine. Then when I try running it I get an undefined method `automatic_read_only' error. I then tried uninstalling the old versions of some gems, and I also did a 'gem update', but I still keep getting the same error when I try to run instiki. Relevant extracts from the command window log are below. Thanks in advance for any advice! You can put your static images into ./public/images (within your instiki directory), and refer to them from a Textile wiki as follows: !/images/20rave.span.jpg! Similar approach works for any other static content - HTML, binary files etc. UNQTE In fact, this is what I am doing instead of file uploads on some project wiki of mine (3 regular authors and a few viewers). I just gave access to instiki/public/files to all my teammates. -- Best regards, Alexey Verkhovsky Ruby Forum: http://ruby-forum.org (moderator) RForum: http://rforum.andreas-s.net (co-author) Instiki: http://instiki.org (maintainer)
