Did you use the Instant Rails manager to open your console window to do the
install? Doing this puts IR's copy of Ruby (specifically the ruby\bin
directory) first on the path. If you didn't do this them you probably
installed rmagic into some other copy of Ruby.
You can open a IR Ruby console window by using the main menu to select
"Rails Applications >> Open Ruby Console Window".
