We had a VM running windows running CCtray, but that died, and I thought there really must be something simpler? Ideally it will run on a Mac, as that's what we have connected to speakers ATM. Equally it would be nice if there was low overhead in changing the noises etc, rather than having to drop into an editor and start hacking files... Ideas? I use CCMenu on my local machine but the version I have only supports growl for notifications. My growl-fu is weak, so my attempts to make CCMenu make any noises (especially different noises for success / fail etc) had stopped there. Do you know any more? In the Growl pref pane, under Display Options, you can select Speech and have your Growl notifications spoken. Alternatively, under Applications, you can add CCMenu and then click Configure... to set only that app to play sounds for every Growl notification. Not quite the same as CCTray but it's better than no sound. Hope that helps. - Jason On Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 10:31 AM, Matt Wynne wrote: > :D > > That guy is me, and my throat is getting sore! > > > On 15 Jan 2009, at 14:04, Tim Walker wrote: > > We got a guy on our team that screams. >> >> T >> >> >> On 1/15/09 3:00 AM, "Matt Wynne" wrote: >> >> > What do people on this list use for build noises in the team room? >> > >> > We had a VM running windows running CCtray, but that died, and I >> > thought there really must be something simpler?
