Do I expect one, or are svn errors handled globally and not in scope of cruise_control.config, hence it did not know where to send mail to? Thanks and Regards, Manish From thewoolleyman at gmail.com Sat Dec 20 11:35:30 2008 From: thewoolleyman at gmail.com (Chad Woolley) Date: Sat, 20 Dec 2008 09:35:30 -0700 Subject: [Cruisecontrolrb-users] svn failure not notified by email alert In-Reply-To: <494C6D90.1040302@gslab.com> References: <494C6D90.1040302@gslab.com> Message-ID: I don't *think* SCM errors will send failure emails. There are some other bugs in this area, such as not properly detecting command failures, and also I don't see how get a return code out of command_line.rb. It could use some refactoring. I started, but it needs more work: http://cruisecontrolrb.lighthouseapp.com/projects/9150/tickets/212-builder-failure-if-svn-log-fails-with-credentials-error On Fri, Dec 19, 2008 at 8:59 PM, Manish Sapariya wrote: > Hi All, > > When I looked at the dashboard of CC.rb, it had one build failure > with message > ======================= > svn: Failed to add directory 'src/openfire': object of the same name already > exists > ======================= > > However it did not send me mail notification. > > Do I expect one, or are svn errors handled globally and not in scope of > cruise_control.config, hence it did not know where to send mail to? > > Thanks and Regards, > Manish > _______________________________________________ > Cruisecontrolrb-users mailing list > Cruisecontrolrb-users at rubyforge.org > http://rubyforge.org/mailman/listinfo/cruisecontrolrb-users > From bret at pettichord.com Sat Dec 20 21:35:00 2008 From: bret at pettichord.com (Bret Pettichord) Date: Sat, 20 Dec 2008 20:35:00 -0600 Subject: [Cruisecontrolrb-users] svn failure not notified by email alert In-Reply-To: References: <494C6D90.1040302@gslab.com> Message-ID: I had a similar problem recently. The ip address of our repository changed, but ccmenu remained green. When you went to the page, there as a "build error" noticed on the page, but the build was green.
