Summary: Text fields are not identified correctly

Initial Comment:
Input elements with missing or invalid type attribute are not recognized as text fields. (Text is the default value of the optional type attribute.)

All input elements with type other than password, checkbox, radio, submit, reset, file, hidden, image, and button should be a text field. (And textarea of course.)
